Casdon Hetty Cleaning Trolley

I’ve said before that Scott and Alexa love role play toys, and things really haven’t changed. They still happily play with their wooden kitchen, Casdon Ironing Set, Casdon Shop, Casdon Kitchen Set and now the Casdon Hetty Cleaning Trolley from their Little Helpers range has joined the household.

Alexa loved it from the moment she laid eyes on it because of the lovely bright pink colour. Even though Scott declared it to be ‘pink and yucky’ (he’s reached that stage Keep reading…

Educational Crafts From Baker Ross

Just as the summer holidays were underway we received a box of educational crafts from the fabulous Baker Ross. As usual, all 4 children loved the contents and getting to put their own stamp on things.

The first kit to be attacked from the box was the Colour In Fabric Butterflies which come in a pack of 6 for £2.99. Alexa loves butterflies because they’re pretty whilst Scott likes them purely because he knows I’m terrified of the things and will scream Keep reading…

My Enchanted Mirror Review

We recently received a My Enchanted Mirror by Sambro to review and to say Alexa was excited about it is a bit of an understatement. I always try to stick to products that are eco-friendly, with the least amount of chemicals used as possible. Although I try to use the more friendly products I do however find that Keep reading…

Our Lego Dream Home

Scott and Alexa were recently invited to take part in a competition to build their dream home out of Lego by Ocean Finance …obviously being only 3 and 4 years old, their dream home isn’t quite what I would choose, they just want rooms full of toys!

It started off well, they semi agreed on what kind of thing they wanted to build, and that Scott would do the building as he’s older …this lasted about 5 minutes before madam decided that no, Scott Keep reading…

National Doll Day At The Museum of Childhood

Last weekend we were invited along to celebrate National Doll Day at the Museum of Childhood by the lovely people at Zapf Creation. As Alexa is Baby Annabell’s biggest fan there was absolutely no way I could have turned the invite down.

That day started with both Scott and Alexa over excited about going to the museum, Scott lost his enthusiasm a bit when I told him it was for doll day but he got over it when I told him Keep reading…
