Halloween Crafts From Baker Ross

Scott’s favourite part of the year is approaching …Halloween (aka his birthday!). He loves all things Halloween so when the Halloween themed craft kits arrived from Baker Ross, both kids were eager to get crafting.

We started off with the Scratch Art Haunted Houses which come in a pack of 8 for £2.95. Inside the pack you get 2 of each of 4 shaped houses along with plastic sticks to scratch your design with. It’s technically the easiest craft ever as Keep reading…

Serenata Hampers Review and Giveaway

When the lovely people from Serenata contacted me last month and offered me the chance to choose whatever I wanted from their site, be it flowers, a hamper with wine or chocolates, or another gift I obviously said yes!

I thought my choice would be easy, I instantly knew I didn’t want flowers and I wanted a hamper – but it had to be in an actual wicker hamper and not just a box (I’m a little in love with wicker baskets!). However, Keep reading…

Doc McStuffins Pet Vet Bag Review and Giveaway

We were recently sent a Doc McStuffins Pet Vet Bag to review from Flair. We’ve only had it a short while and for that time Alexa has been really unwell so it hasn’t been played with as much as it would normally have been.

Inside the box you get the case and the following vet tools: Grooming Brush, Comb, Scissors, Magnifying Glass, Tongue Depressor, Otoscope, Light Up Pet Tag, there’s also a small sheet of stickers included. All of the tools are great Keep reading…

Casdon Supermarket Till

Yep, you guessed it, we’ve added to our Casdon collection again and myself and the kids couldn’t be happier. We absolutely love the Casdon range and when we got the Supermarket Till out of the box this was no different.

Inside the box the till comes assembled along with some paper money, plastic coins, a bank card, some plastic food and some branded food boxes that need assembling.

The Casdon Supermarket Till is made from plastic that is tough and durable (it Keep reading…

Autumn Crafts From Baker Ross

In our most recent box from Baker Ross we received a few Autumn inspired crafts to do. With today being the first day of Autumn I thought it would be the perfect time to share them with you.

The first kit was the Hedgehog Cushion Sewing Kit which comes in a pack of 2 for £4.70. Inside the pack are all the bits you need to sew and create your hedgehog, even the stuffing. Scott wasn’t interested in sewing and Alexa Keep reading…

Dobble Kids Review & Giveaway

Scott and Alexa love playing games and over the last year we have gradually been building up a little collection. Usually 9 times out of 10 one of them gets the hump/refuses to play according to rules/gets bored/won’t wait for their turn and it all inevitably turns into chaos as they’re so desperate to be the winner *sigh*.
Scott, being that little bit older than Alexa, is now more willing to attempt to play properly and will ask me to play Keep reading…

Turning A Nightmare Into A Dream With Yorkshire Linen

Scott and Alexa have been in need of new bedding for a long time. In fact, they’ve had the same bedding since Alexa was a baby and those few sets are well and truly washed out and past their best – not to mention not relevant to their interests now. The majority of the time they end up with blankets on the bed but this all has to change with regards to Alexa’s allergies. I’ve been advised by the allergies nurse to change Keep reading…
